Rahul Sahgal

Chief Executive Officer

Rahul is the founder and CEO of Annik, one of the leading Data Analytics outsourcing companies in India. Having spent 10 years in the US working with some of the Global Leaders in Market Research, he started the company upon his return to India. Initially providing software development services, he started offering data services in 2002 after which the company quickly grew from less than 20 to over 200 in a couple of years. Today, with over 1000+ employees, Annik is recognized as a pioneer in the KPO space. Having grown up in different countries and having attended various international schools, he has an appreciation for different cultures. He is fluent in English, Hindi and French. Rahul holds a Master's Degree in Physics from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA and a Bachelor's Degree in the same subject from Hindu College, University of Delhi.

Sandeep Bhatia

Chief Operating Officer

22 years’ experience across Operations and Quality in Manufacturing and IT/ITES segment. He has been with Annik since 2006 and leads all Operations, Process Reengineering, Enabling functions & Quality. He is an engineering graduate from a premier university in India and has been working in the BPO & Analytics domain since last 14 years. Sandeep is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt from GE-US and a Master Black Belt at Genpact. He has also lead multiple transitions, set up new sites and worked in Business Development.

Justin Tomboulian

Senior Partner, Global Sales & Marketing

Justin brings nearly 14 years of niche global experience in the IT industry with software and systems product management, architecture, development, deployment and operation, all with focus on process and system excellence. Formerly, he was IT Director for Microsoft Japan, where as an expert in Pacific Rim cross-cultural business connection, he managed overall Japan sales & marketing business infrastructure strategy & successful enterprise-wide solution implementation to enable higher workforce productivity, reduce costs, and fuel revenue growth. Based in Seattle, Washington, Justin is originally from Vancouver, Canada and earned a Bachelor of Commerce in M.I.S. with a concentration in Japanese from the University of Calgary.

Kristin Luck

Kristin Luck is a serial entrepreneur and a globetrotting internationally recognized keynote speaker on marketing measurement. She’s a futurist and growth hacking expert, specializing in nontraditional marketing and branding strategies, and regularly contributes to both the commercial (Fast Company, Forbes) and academic press (Research World, Journal of Brand Strategy) where she explores emerging marketing and research methods. Kristin is consistently ranked as one of the top 100 sales and marketing experts to follow on social media. She most recently served as a partner and President/CMO of Decipher until its acquisition in 2014 and currently works as a growth strategy consultant for early and mid-stage companies preparing for funding or acquisition.

Ajay Takroo

Ajay has 15+ years of experience in global operations delivery for IT/ITeS Industry. Ajay holds a B.Com degree and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. He is a good team player who builds enthusiasm and motivation in the team. He adapts to change swiftly and is a quick decision maker.

Ranjan Kapur

Ranjan Kapur is currently the Country Manager-WPP India. Ranjan took charge as the Country Manager, WPP in 2004. Ranjan is a veteran of the advertising business having spent 38 years with Ogilvy. He was Chairman of Ogilvy India from 1993 to 2003 and is largely credited with its turnaround and accelerated growth which led to it becoming India's largest communications group. Ranjan is currently a Director on the board of Pidilite Industries, Annik Technologies, Abbott India Ltd., among others. In his personal capacity, Ranjan is involved in the development of technology based on line and mobile services companies. Ranjan was born in Lahore on 25 November, 1942 and holds a holds a Master's degree in Arts (English) from Delhi University and a degree in Advanced Advertising Studies from the Advertising Agencies Association of America.

Vikas Srivastava

Vikas, Partner with Luthra & Luthra Law Office, heads the Direct Tax Practice and has over 25 years of experience in the area of Corporate Taxation, both domestic and international. He has in-depth understanding of the impact of tax treaties, inbound & outbound investments, transfer pricing regulations, corporate and expatriate taxation. He holds significant experience in rendering advisory services to leading private equity funds/Venture Capital on Formulation of Entry and Exit Strategies, Acquisition, Investments, Fund Structuring, Management Company Structure, Establishment of Indian advisory entity etc. He also advises on tax matters of all hues and represents clients in transfer pricing proceedings and Mutual Agreement Procedures.

Ashish Dhawan

Ashish Dhawan, a leading Private Equity investor and Head of the $2Bn VC fund ChrysCapital, is a significant investor in Annik. Before he co-founded ChrysCapital in April 1999, Dhawan was investing proprietary capital in the Risk Arbitrage Group at Goldman Sachs. He worked at GP Investments, a $1 billion private equity fund in Brazil, and prior to that, he worked at McCown De Leeuw & Co., a $1.2 billion private equity firm focused on middle-market buyouts. Also, he had a stint at the Mergers Group at Wasserstein Perella. He received an MBA with distinction from the Harvard Business School and a BS in applied mathematics and economics with magna cum laude honours from Yale University.

She has studied Economic Honors from Delhi University and holds a post-graduate diploma in Personnel Management from XISS Ranchi, and brings over 14 years of rich & diverse experience in Human Resources. Her last stint was with XecuteHR Solutions in HR strategy services. She has also worked with HCL, Convergys & United Health Group.

Niraj Dinesh Khalpada

Global Head, Analytics

Niraj brings over 12 years of diverse international experience in delivering business value to leading blue-chip organizations through analytics, technology and digital strategy initiatives.  He is passionate about exploring opportunities for value generation and value maximization for clients through innovative use of analytics to solve challenging business problems. He holds a Masters in Computers and an MBA from London Business School.

Kaushik Mukherjee


Kaushik brings more than 16 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Business Strategy, Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management.  He was previously at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as an Associate Director of Finance and also held a challenging regional role managing South East Asia, Middle East and Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Delhi University and is a Chartered Accountant by profession, completed Executive Management from Cornell University and Senior Management Program from IIM Calcutta.

Corporate Social Responsibility

1. Philosophy

The guiding principle of Annik Corporate Social Responsibility programs is “Creating Impact through Empowerment,” where empowerment is a process of strengthening the future today, so that risks are minimized, value created and certainty is experienced. We strive to ensure that the communities engaged through our CSR initiatives also experience certainty in their lives.

2. Core Areas

The core areas for Annik CSR programs is Education, Community responsibility and Environmental responsibility. 

3. Scopee contributions provided by employees

This policy is applicable for Annik Technologies Pvt Ltd.

4. Constitution of CSR committee

The Board of Directors, Head of HR and Chief Operating Officer of Annik Technologies have formed a Corporate Social Responsibility Committee (the “CSR Committee”) in line with section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 (the “Act”).

The CSR Committee will carry out the following functions:

  • To formulate and recommend to the Board, a CSR policy indicating activities to be undertaken as specified in Schedule VII of the Act;
  • To recommend the amount of expenditure to be incurred in liaison with Global Head - finance on the activities as per the core areas established; and
  • To monitor the CSR policy from time to time.

5. Core areas & activities

In accordance with the primary CSR philosophy and the specified activity under the Act with Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014 (the “CSR Rules”), and any amendment(s) thereof, the CSR activities of Annik Technologies Pvt Ltd, India will have the following thrust areas:

  • Education
    • Sponsoring high school education for children from below poverty line
  • Community Responsibility
    • Disaster Relief
  • Environmental Responsibility
    • Go green initiative



The choice of education is as per the guiding principle of the policy and also the theme flows from Annik being in the knowledge domain. Under this umbrella, Annik sponsors children who hail from a below poverty line in and around Gurgaon villages. This is aimed to ensure that we provide opportunity of education and better future to the underprivileged and deserving children of the “community in which we live and work”.

Community Responsibility

Under the category of “Community responsibility”, Annik Technologies strive to provide financial or material aid through verified channels for areas affected by natural calamities and also encourage our employees to provide a helping hand at this time of need by matching all the contributions provided by employees.

Environmental Responsibility

Under the umbrella of Environmental responsibility, Annik Technologies tries to reduce the carbon footprint to the extent possible, by developing and managing a green belt area near our Gurgaon office premise and also we have employees who have volunteered to travel in public or shared transport to reduce the carbon emissions, we call them as our Green Ambassadors.

At Annik, we conduct regular blood camps through established channels, and Annikians volunteers to donate blood which helps to save lives.

5. Budget

The total budget for the CSR projects will be decided by the CSR Committee in accordance with applicable provisions of the Act and the CSR Rules along with Global Head- Finance.

6. Implementation, monitoring and review mechanism

The CSR activities will be driven by HR team under the guidance and support of the CSR Committee and the Board. The CSR Committee will play a significant role in ensuring that the CSR policy is embedded across Annik Technologies Pvt Ltd, India operations and the CSR initiatives are in line with this policy.

The CSR Committee will be responsible for monitoring the initiatives. The CSR Committee will put in place a transparent monitoring and reporting mechanism for ensuring effective implementation of the projects, programs and activities proposed to be undertaken. Such monitoring mechanisms will include visits before finalizing NGO partners, and review of progress/status reporting of the activities.

Any or all provisions of this CSR policy may be amended by the Board based on the recommendations of the CSR Committee or in accordance with any statutory guidelines that may be issued from time to time.
